When it comes to choosing someone to care for your pets, trust is the foundation. As pet owners, we want to be sure that our furry family members are in the best possible hands when we can’t be there. Whether it’s a walk, drop in visit, or overnight care, the relationship between you, your pet, and your pet care provider needs to be built on trust - and that’s exactly what I focus on here at On Point Pet Sitting.
In fact, it’s this need for trust that’s at the heart of why I started my business in the first place. When I first shared the idea of starting a pet care business with Mitch (my partner), his immediate response was, “There’s no way we’d trust a stranger to come into our home, unsupervised, and care for our pets.” I completely understood where he was coming from, and that’s why I wanted to build a service that ensures pet owners feel confident in the care of their pets, knowing they’re in safe, reliable hands.
Clear Communication
Trust is built on communication, and that’s why I provide regular updates after every service, whether it's a walk, drop in, or overnight stay. You'll receive a detailed report about your pet's activities, along with pictures or videos, so you can feel connected to your pet’s experience and confident that they’re getting the care they deserve. Communication isn’t just about providing updates - it’s about making sure you feel heard and reassured throughout the process. With my background, details and reports were meant to leave no questions asked once you'd read them and that concept follows through with my services.
Safety First, Always
A someone who is a chronic over-thinker, I am always worried about the "what could happens". That is why your pet's safety is my top priority. From double clipping leashes to using GPS tracked walks, I take every precaution to ensure they’re secure. I also follow Fear Free practices and use safety equipment, such as ID tags and lights for evening walks, to make sure that every pet I care for is safe and well protected. You can trust that I’m always prepared for whatever situation may arise, whether it's an unexpected change in plans or a simple need for extra care.
Understanding Your Pet’s Needs
Trust isn’t just about communicating with you as the owner; it’s also about understanding and meeting your pet’s individual needs. Every pet is different, and I make sure to take the time to get to know your pet's unique personality, preferences, and comfort levels. Whether we’re going on a walk or playing together, I focus on creating a positive experience that makes your pet feel relaxed and cared for.
Peace of Mind for You
As a pet mom myself, I know how hard it is to leave your pets in someone else’s care. That’s why I ensure that every service I provide is tailored to meet your pet’s needs. From administering medication to offering enrichment based activities, I take care of all the little details that make a big difference in your pet’s well being. I do my best to include photos and videos during each service, so you can rest easy knowing exactly how your pet is doing. After all, when you trust someone with your pets, you’re trusting them with a big part of your family.
Building trust is something that takes time, but it’s at the core of everything I do. I’m honored to be able to work with the wonderful pets of St. Albert and help give their owners peace of mind.
If you ever have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out—I’m here to ensure you and your pets feel comfortable and supported every step of the way.
Trust is earned, and I’m committed to earning it with every walk, visit, and overnight stay I provide.
